学校简介：Taunton School was founded in 1847 and is located on the edge of Taunton Town, which has excellent road and rail connections with London. We are a traditional co-educational boarding and day school for pupils aged 0–18 years. Our outstanding facilities include two swimming pools, two astro turf pitches, a fitness suite, a modern theatre, a music school, a spacious library, well-equipped art studios and latest IT suites. With over 60 nationalities, we have a lively international community leading the way in independent education. Taunton School offer summer programmes (Junior & Senior), a Junior School, GCSE, A Levels, IB, Business Foundation and BTEC. Taunton School comprises of Nursery, Pre-Preparatory, Preparatory, Senior, Sixth Form, Taunton School International (TSI) and Taunton School International Middle School (TSIMS). We are focused on ensuring that we prepare young people for their lives beyond school and in a world that changes rapidly. To give our students the best foundations in education, we are innovative, forward thinking, global in outlook and down to earth in approach. Our Summer School courses provide a great introduction to the British education system and offer a taste of boarding school life at Taunton School. Our courses cater for students aged 8-17 years old. We offer a Junior Summer School for students aged 8-12 years old and Senior Summer School for students aged 13-17 years old. Benefitting from small class sizes that feature a maximum of 10 students and 25 hours of tuition a week from term time teachers, our courses provide excellent preparation for UK boarding schools, GCSEs, A Levels and the IB Diploma.
