学校简介：Located in 400 acres of beautiful Hertfordshire countryside, just 30 minutes from London and 20 minutes from Stansted Airport, St Edmund's College is an independent co-educational, on a beautiful green and safe campus north of London. We offer a safe and stimulating environment for students age 3-18, with boarding from age 11. With a long and proud history St Edmund's College is modern and forward thinking in its outlook and attitude to learning. Academic, pastoral, spiritual and co-curricular development are all of the very highest quality and are seen as being of equal importance throughout the school. We are truly a values-led educational leader. Learning at St Edmund's College is underpinned by the High Performance Learning Framework (HPL) which blends academic confidence and attainment with the development of robust personal values, attitudes and attributes to educate students a a whole. Many of our leavers achieve excellent GCSE and A Level results, to win places at the top 10 most prestigious UK universities - London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Cambridge, Durham. Students study the English curriculum of GCSE and A Level examinations plus Cambridge ESOL exams. One term placements are also available in years 7 - 10 and 12, if spaces are available. Students at the College thrive as we recognise each child's talents and strengths which are stretched and challenged through a broad, rigorous curriculum. We offer a unique array of co-curricular activities and we believe these are an important part of an all-round education and central to our commitment to develop the "Whole person" keeping both our boarders and day students busy, stimulated and happy. Our Boarding House remains open and staffed during the Lent and Trinity (Summer) half terms. There are NO exeat weekends at St Edmund's and therefore our boarders enjoy weekends with planned trips to places such as Cambridge, theatre in the West End and Harry Potter Studios, to name just a few.
