学校简介：Spring Street International School is a multicultural, independent, day and boarding school that provides students in grades 6-12 with a stimulating learning environment here in Friday Harbor.  Since 1995, Spring Street teachers work to build relationships that prepare each student to meet the requirements of a rigorous curriculum, fostering the complex reasoning crucial to thriving in both college and life.  Each fall and spring, the classroom expands to the trails of the north cascades, to the streets of New York City, to the mountains of the Himalayas, and to the Mayan village on Lake Atitlan, and beyond. Providing a global perspective through internships, museums, language immersion, trekking, homestays, and service projects, our expeditionary learning program challenges students to put theory into practice.  Spring Street’s educational philosophy of individual development, relationship-based teaching, and challenging expeditions invite students to become engaged, thoughtful, ethical participants in local and global communities
