学校简介：Our program currently engages around 135 international students from 23 countries. We welcome students ages 5-18 years old. Students from ages 5-13 attend elementary school, while students from ages 14-18 attend secondary school (collegiates). Secondary students (age 14-18) can join us to experience any of the following: -Academic Program for High School Graduation -1 year (10 month), 1 semester (5 month), 4 month or 3 month study term options -International Baccalaureate (IB) program (2 yr program or course-based) -Any of our unique programs, including: Advanced Placement (AP) Dance Academy Soccer Academy Softball Academy Languages Media School Outdoor School Pre-Engineering Off the Grid (Ecology & Sustainability) Collective Voice (Social Justice) Carpentry Apprenticeship Program Industrial arts options Practical & Applied arts options Our international students attend 7 high schools, all of which offer exceptional academic and extracurricular programming. Important Program Details: -We operate our own in-house homestay program. Our families are experienced, warm and welcoming. Our Homestay Coordinator works directly with students and families in homes and schools. -Our SIE Advisors work directly in high schools to support new and returning international high school students throughout their time in Saskatoon. -Advisors and Homestay Coordinators plan enriching cultural activities for international students, their host families and natural families throughout the school year. -SIE staff speak multiple languages to support students and families, including English, Chinese, French, Spanish, Persian, Turkish, Romanian and Greek. -International students in Grades 3-12 can access English as an Additional Language (EAL/ESL) classes to learn English and receive academic support.
