学校简介：A public school district located just 45 minutes from Vancouver, B.C. School District #42 Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows educates 15,00 students. Our 6 secondary schools offer a wide variety of academic choices; IB, AP, Honours classes as well as academy programs: Microsoft IT, Digital Arts. The sports opportunities will meet any interest from a Soccer Academy, Basketball Academy, or Ice Hockey Academy along with many school based sports such as field hockey, wrestling, cross-country, or badminton. All schools host clubs such as student leadership to chess, or debating. Students receive in-school support from the International Liaison teacher, ESL integrated into their timetable. Our school district homestay program is staffed by 4 full-time Homestay Coordinators who meet with students in school one day per week and work closely with families to train them in SD42 procedures.
