学校简介：Founded in 1928, John Bapst is an independent, college preparatory high school serving 500 students in grades nine through twelve. Nonsectarian and coeducational, John Bapst's rigorous curriculum, with a strong focus on mathematics, science, and the humanities, prepares students for selective colleges and universities throughout the world - our college attendance is 100% annually. Twenty-five AP courses form the curriculum's core. The College Board has designated John Bapst as a Platinum AP School, placing it in the top 6% of high schools in the US. An Accelerated English Language Program for international students immediately immerses students in interaction with native speakers, ensuring the development of English proficiency at a high level. We welcome international students and seek a diverse student population. The campus is in the small, safe, and friendly city of Bangor, Maine. Residences are in beautiful historic homes within a two minute walk of classes. Nearly two dozen interscholastic sports teams and numerous clubs and organizations provide many opportunities for students to explore their interests, develop their passion, and create life-long friendships.
