学校简介：Founded in 1829, Burr and Burton Academy is an independent, coeducational day and boarding school for grades 9-12 located in the Manchester, Vermont in historic New England. Burr and Burton Academy currently enrolls 755 students including 31 international students from 14 countries. Situated at the foot of Mt. Equinox and overlooking picturesque Manchester Village, Burr and Burton has a proud tradition of educating students of diverse backgrounds in a caring and supportive environment that encourages excellence and engages community spirit. Burr and Burton Academy offers a broad array of academic choices from Advanced Placement (AP) courses to special interest electives, ESL, SAT and TOEFL preparation, and college admission support. With two nearby ski resorts, students can participate in our skiing and snowboarding program throughout the winter months. International students enjoy trips to New York City and Washington, DC, as well as weekend activities throughout the year. BBA offers 35 athletic teams that compete for state titles and more than 40 clubs. Students have the option of living in one of our dorms on campus or with a host family from our local community.
